How Vrooz Works

Learn how peer-to-peer vehicle rentals work on Vrooz. Search, book, pay securely, and enjoy your ride.

For renters – book a vehicle in minutes

  • Search for a vehicle: Use the search form to find available vehicles based on your location, travel dates, vehicle type, price, and features.
  • Check availability: View availability calendars, pickup and drop-off times, and booking options. Some vehicles offer instant booking, while others require owner approval.
  • Reserve your ride: Select your preferred vehicle, enter trip details, and submit your booking. Instant bookings are confirmed immediately.
  • Booking confirmation and cancellation:
    • Advance bookings (>48 hours before pickup):
      Free cancellation within 24 hours. After that, a 50% refund if canceled more than 24 hours before pickup. No refund within 24 hours.
    • Mid bookings (48–24 hours before pickup):
      Free cancellation within 2 hours. After that, a 50% refund if canceled more than 24 hours before pickup. No refund within 24 hours.
    • Short-notice bookings (24–12 hours before pickup):
      Only the owner may cancel within 2 hours. No cancellations or refunds for renters.
    • Instant bookings (<12 hours before pickup):
      Immediately confirmed and non-cancellable by either party. No refunds.
    After the grace period, payment is processed and the reservation is locked in.
  • Make a secure payment: Complete your booking using our secure online payment system. All major payment methods are accepted.
  • Secure handover and start your trip: At pickup, the owner receives an OTP (via email, SMS, and dashboard), and the renter receives a QR code or verification link. The renter must scan the QR or enter the OTP to confirm handover. At drop-off, the process is reversed. Each OTP is valid for up to 5 hours to ensure mutual presence and confirmation at both ends of the trip.

For vehicle owners – list and earn

  • Create your account: Sign up as a vehicle owner, complete your profile, and verify your identity.
  • List your vehicle: Add vehicle details, upload photos, set your availability, pricing, and pickup/drop-off times. You may enable instant bookings or manual approval.
  • Receive bookings: Once your listing is live, renters can find and book your vehicle. You receive notifications for new bookings or requests.
  • Booking confirmation and cancellation:
    • Advance bookings (>48 hours):
      Free cancellation within 24 hours.
    • Mid bookings (48–24 hours):
      Free cancellation within 2 hours.
    • Short-notice bookings (24–12 hours):
      Only the owner may cancel within 2 hours.

  • Secure handover: At pickup, you receive the OTP and the renter receives a QR code or link. The renter confirms handover by scanning the QR or entering the OTP. At drop-off, the process is reversed. Each OTP is valid for up to 5 hours to ensure a secure transaction.
  • Earn money: After the rental period ends, your earnings are processed and securely transferred to your account. You can track all transactions from your dashboard.

  • ID and license verification: All users must verify their identity and driver's license before booking or listing a vehicle.
  • Secure payments: We use industry-standard payment gateways to protect your transactions.
  • Ratings and reviews: Both renters and owners can leave reviews, ensuring transparency and trust.
  • Dedicated support: Our support team is available to assist before, during, and after every booking.
